about

'Music' Features two west African Griots - traditional musicians, storytellers, historians, archivists and diplomats. Babacarr Dieng is on vocals and percussion, and Jally Keba Susso plays the Kora, a west African harp. Both come from long line of famous griot families in Gambia and Senegal.
They met with Kay in London and instantly connected on a musical and spiritual level. Kay then helped record and produce their material, and when he dropped the 'Music' beat, it resonated immediately. Babacarr sings, "In Japan, Gambia, Senegal, everywhere we have music," in his big earthy voice and Jally accompanies with his beautiful and moving Kora sounds.
On remix duty, heavyweight producer Atjazz transformed the song into his famous deep afro-house style, which is sure to be a floor killer, especially for South Africa's World Cup season.
